Philosophy as an Aid in Coping with Challenges
Facing the Senior Executive and the Organization
A Philosophical "Wake-Up" Day on the Basic Challenges
Faced by Senior Executives
The Philoharmony Institute for Strategic Philosophical Counseling
The Objective: To experience a philosophical engagement with the challenges facing the senior executive.
Philoharmony offers a fresh, innovative approach to the examination of managerial challenges, employing a broad array of philosophical insights and practices, based in Eastern and Western cultures, aimed at clarifying questions and refining solutions.
The Product: Fresh, effective insights for overcoming the difficulties and challenges under discussion.
The Method: Our journey begins with the concrete strategic problems encountered by the participants, and their translation into basic human dilemmas. In the main stage, the challenges that have been identified are considered by the instructors and the group using cognitive and experiential philosophical tools, which serve to deepen, enhance, and expand the issues. In the concluding stage, the insights gained are collected and integrated, with the help of a skilled staff, back into the concrete questions facing the executive and the organization.
The Staff: The staff is made up of counselors holding advanced degrees in philosophy, communications, Eastern psychology, and business administration. All of the staff members are persons of wide-ranging interests, richly experienced in accompanying executives and organizations (see details below). The staff members have years of experience in tackling questions of management and leadership, and expertise in dealing with basic life issues using philosophical tools.
